Product Overview

V-shaped ball valve is a type of ball valve, with a V-shaped opening on the hemispherical body as the closing element. The V-shaped opening has a sharp cutting edge, and during the rotation of the ball, there is a wiping effect between the closing elements, which has a cutting force on the medium. The V-shaped opening of the ball and the valve seat flow channel form a fan-shaped area. During the rotation process, the cross-sectional area of the flow channel can be changed to adjust the medium. It is an angle rotating regulating valve with the same sealing performance as ordinary ball valves, which enables it to have both regulating and switching functions. It is matched with pneumatic or electric actuators and suitable for industrial process self-control systems.

Structural Features

1. Valve body integral structure: Both clamp type and flange type V-shaped ball valves have an integral side mounted structure, which is not easy to cause deformation and leakage.

2. Upper and lower self-lubricating bearings: The valve body is equipped with upper and lower self-lubricating bearings, which have a large contact area with the valve stem, high load-bearing capacity, low friction coefficient, and reduce the torque of the valve.

3. The valve seat can be selected as metal hard seal or PTFE soft seal according to the needs of the medium and working conditions: the sealing surface of the metal hard seal valve seat is welded with hard alloy, and the spherical surface is plated with hard chromium or sprayed with welding, ion nitriding and other treatments to make the sealing surface longer and improve temperature resistance; Soft sealed PTFE valve seat or reinforced PTFE valve seat has good sealing performance, corrosion resistance, and wide adaptability.

4. Economy: The valve body is lightweight, the valve stem torque is small, and the corresponding specifications for pneumatic or electric actuators are small.

5. Wide adaptability to media: Due to the shear force between the V-shaped opening and the valve seat, as well as the smooth and round flow channel in the valve cavity, the media is not easily accumulated in the cavity. Therefore, in addition to liquid media, it is suitable for system control with fiber and solid particle media.

6. Small flow control: By machining the V-shaped opening of the small-diameter valve core, small Cv value control can be achieved.
