Mute check valve consists of valve body, valve seat, conductor, valve flap, shaft tile and spring and other parts. The internal flow path adopts streamlined design, small pressure loss, short valve opening and closing stroke, can be closed when the pump stops to avoid water hammer sound, forming a mute. Mainly used in water supply, drainage, fire fighting, HVAC systems, can be installed at the outlet of the pump to avoid backflow of media and water hammer damage to the pump.
The opening and closing parts of the mute check valve rely on the flow of media and the power to open or close by itself, so as to avoid the backflow of media. Check valves are generally divided into four types: lift, swing, butterfly and horizontal, etc. Horizontal lift check valves should be installed in the horizontal pipeline, vertical lift check valves and bottom valves are generally installed in the vertical pipeline, and the medium flows from the bottom to the top, the installation position of the rotary check valve is not restricted, usually installed in the horizontal pipeline, but it can also be installed in the vertical pipeline or the dumping of the pipeline.
Mute check valve internal water flow path using streamlined design, head loss is small, the valve switching stroke is short. Check valve only allows the medium to flow in one direction, should pay attention to the direction of media flow, should make the normal flow of media in the same direction as the direction of the arrow indicated on the valve body, otherwise it will cut off the normal flow of media.
