Direct-flow globe valve, also known as Y-type globe valve, is a widely used type of valve. Direct-flow globe valve makes the fluid keep the original flow direction when circulating the valve, and has smaller flow resistance characteristics. Direct-flow globe valve will not change the direction of fluid flow, is a globe valve with less flow resistance. y-type globe valve flow path and the main channel into a diagonal, relative to conventional globe valves, the degree of damage to the flow state is smaller, thus reducing the pressure loss through the valve. Direct-flow globe valve has a simple structure and is relatively convenient to manufacture and maintain. Its action stroke is short, opening and closing time is short. Globe valve body structure mainly has straight-through, direct-flow and right-angle type. Straight-through structure is more common, but the resistance is larger. The friction between the sealing surface when opening and closing of the straight flow type globe valve is small, with high durability, the opening height is relatively small, the manufacturing process is relatively simple, easy to maintain, not only for low-pressure and medium-pressure pipelines, but also in the high-pressure pipeline.
